Little Millets also known as Samai in tamil, is called so because it’s seeds are comparatively smaller than other millet. Little millet are known to release sugar in blood very slowly which makes it a go to grain for diabetes patients. Saamai also has extreme resistance towards pests and has an indefinite storage life.
